From choosing my programme to completing the admission process, the team guided me through every stage — and told me plainly when an option was not realistic for my budget.

Chapter 01
The goal
Nadia finished a statistics degree in Dhaka and wanted to move into applied analytics work. The requirement was specific: a European qualification, taught in English, at a total cost the family could fund without borrowing against property.
-
Chapter 02
The challenges
Two problems surfaced early. The first was budget — the Western European programmes on the initial shortlist were roughly double what was realistic once living costs were added.
The second was the English test. An initial IELTS attempt came back at 6.0 overall but with a 5.5 in writing, below the threshold for two of the target programmes.

Chapter 03
How we supported
We rebuilt the shortlist around total cost rather than tuition alone, which changed the picture considerably and brought Cyprus into range with a meaningful margin.
On the English requirement, we mapped which of the shortlisted universities accepted the existing score and which did not, so the retake decision was made with full information rather than under time pressure. The retake returned 6.5 overall with 6.0 in writing.
We then prepared the document set — transcripts, degree certificate, CV and statement of purpose — and reviewed the statement across three drafts.

Chapter 04
The admission journey
Applications went to three universities in Cyprus in early April. The first offer arrived within eleven days, and all three had responded within a month. Two included merit scholarship offers based on the undergraduate transcript.
After comparing the offers on net cost after scholarship, Nadia accepted the place at Mediterranean International University and paid the deposit in May. The entry permit application was lodged in June, with medical and police clearance documents prepared in advance, and approval came through in early August.

Chapter 05
The outcome
Nadia started the MSc Data Analytics programme in September 2024 with a 25% merit scholarship, and completed a capstone project with a Nicosia logistics company in the final semester.
